We would like to recognize Hoang Mai as this week's #TutorTuesday.

Hoang is a sophomore studying Electrical Engineering. He has been a AAAC Tutor in Math and Physics for the past 3 semesters.

FUN FACT: He had a 130 square ft. LEGO city for 7 years and he did not stop building and expanding on it until he was 15!

Hoang believes the most rewarding thing about being a tutor is seeing students improve, "The moment they understand the material and get good grades, you can see the confidence in their eyes, and that encourages me to do more for them."

Hoang’s favorite part about going to KU is that it has pushed him to bring out the best of himself, "It asks you to do more, to participate more, and to socialize more. I struggled at first, but the moment I was able to keep up, the rewards are beyond describable."
